Terms of Service
1. Purpose
These Terms govern your use of the applications published by DeblurLab (“we”, “us”) and of our website at deblurlab.com (together, the “Service”), and set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both you and us.
2. Definitions
- “App” means software we develop and distribute through application marketplaces such as the Apple App Store.
- “You” means anyone who uses the Service under these Terms.
- “Marketplace” means a provider that handles distribution and payment for the App, such as Apple Inc.
3. Changes to these Terms
- These Terms apply to everyone who uses the Service.
- We may revise these Terms where necessary, within the limits of applicable law.
- If we revise them, we will post the revised Terms on this page together with their effective date. For changes that disadvantage you, we will post them at least 30 days before they take effect.
- If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may delete the App and stop using the Service.
4. What the Service includes
- We develop Apps and distribute them through Marketplaces, and we provide product information and support guidance through the website.
- We may release updates that improve the App. Some features may change because of shifts in the operating system environment or similar reasons.
- We may discontinue sales of an App or end its support for business or technical reasons. If we do, this does not restrict your use of a copy already installed on your device.
5. Prices and payment
- Purchases and payments are handled by the Marketplace, and the payment process and available methods follow that Marketplace’s policies.
- We do not have access to your payment details.
- Unless stated otherwise, our Apps are one-time purchases and do not include recurring billing.
- We may change an App’s price. A price change applies only to purchases made afterwards and does not affect purchases already completed.
6. Cancellation and refunds
- You may withdraw a purchase in accordance with applicable consumer protection law, including the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
- Refunds for purchases made through a Marketplace are processed by that Marketplace under its own policies. For Apple App Store purchases, you can request one through Apple’s Report a Problem page.
- Because we have no access to payment information, we cannot issue refunds ourselves. We will, however, help you through the process.
- If a defect in the App makes normal use impossible, you may request a refund as provided by applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
- Intellectual property rights in the software, design, trade marks, text, and images that make up the App and the website belong to us or to their respective rightful owners.
- Purchasing an App grants you a non-exclusive right to use it for personal purposes. It does not transfer copyright to you.
- You retain the rights to any material you add to the App yourself, such as your own images.
8. Your obligations
You must not:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or extract its source code;
- circumvent or defeat the App’s purchase verification;
- copy, distribute, rent, resell, or sublicense the App without authorisation;
- use the App to infringe the rights of others or to break the law; or
- interfere with the normal operation of the Service.
9. Note on how the Apps are intended to be used
Some of our Apps can present a particular scene on your screen. That capability is intended for your own convenience. You are responsible for any unlawful or improper use of it, including using it to deceive or mislead another person.
10. Limitation of liability
- We do not warrant that an App will be fit for your particular purpose.
- We are not liable for loss arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure, changes to operating system or Marketplace policies, and the condition of your device.
- We do not warrant the accuracy of information an App produces, such as noise readings, which are provided for reference only. Noise readings in particular are not calibrated measurements.
- Nothing in this section limits any liability of ours that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Privacy
As a matter of principle we do not collect your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
- If a dispute arises out of your use of the Service, you and we will make good-faith efforts to resolve it through discussion.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any action relating to a dispute shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
